Individual Restaurants are one of the UK’s leading restaurant chains. They are responsible for a collection of some of the most successful restaurants throughout the country including, Piccolino, The Restaurant Bar & Grill, Bank Restaurant & Bar and Gino D’Acampo My Restaurants.

They also offer a membership club which provides 5% discount across all restaurants, free wifi, gift cards along with a range of other perks.

Individual Restaurants were looking for a festive marketing campaign to promote more visits to their restaurants through providing a range of discounts for the holiday season, as well as highlight and encourage people to join their members club.

A solid marketing plan is centred around engagement, nurturing & adding value to potential customers. This relationship building, when done correctly, will lead to a conversion (a new customer). Marketing then should focus on engagement and re-engagement to encourage repeat business. 

Our Online Advent Calendar Christmas marketing tool works perfectly when companies have something to promote or give away on a daily basis. This made the decision for Individual Restaurants a no-brainer!

We worked with Individual Restaurants to build a 25 day countdown to Christmas online advent calendar. The calendar was designed in a simplistic, yet classy aesthetic to match the high-end branding of the restaurant chain. The calendar highlighted each of their 5 restaurant brands, whilst giving prominence to the 25th day - to encourage visitors to return on Christmas day for the biggest promotion.

We worked with Individual Restaurants to map out their festive campaign strategy, which led to hiding a different promotion, voucher or competition behind each window. 

As the calendar featured a different promotion daily, users were encouraged to return as to not miss an offer. These repeat visits served 2 purposes. 

The first was to increase visits & business across their restaurants. The second was to increase engagement with their target market. 

Engagement came in the form of repeat visits, which reinforced the brand in the eyes and minds of visitors. The second was capturing target market data - which factored into their longer term marketing plans. This allowed the restaurant chain to grow its email list and direct market to their audience, pushing both restaurant visits and their membership club. 

The final result was reaching almost 46,000 visits to their advent calendar over the Christmas period, along with attracting over 37,000 competition entries.
