MyJar are a short-terms loan provider, having lent over £405million since 2009. They differentiate and pride themselves on delivering a top tier level of customer service, available 7 days a week.

MJYAR were looking for a way to position their brand as an authority within the niche, by providing factual information on finances and lending, as well as useful money saving tips for the holiday season.

Christmas is the time of year where everyone could do with a few extra quid afterall….

The Solution

We were approached by the chief marketing officer of MYJAR with a brief to drive customer engagement along with increasing brand awareness through putting out quality, useful, information about finances for existing and potential customers.

We created an Online Advent Calendar for MYJAR, packed with useful money saving facts, financial tips or advice pieces. This content was hidden behind each window of the calendar, encouraging people to visit daily to get the latest reveal.

This content was bite sized chunks of information, making it easily digestible for anyone reading. Releasing these facts on a daily basis could be seen as an early Christmas present by many - let’s face it - who doesn’t want to save money money over the holiday season!?

This content was shareable by MYJAR, as well as visitors, which would attract further visitors, increasing brand awareness. 

MYJAR attracted 1,063 visitors during the campaign, with over 50% of all visitors of the campaign being driven from Facebook, increasing engagement from followers on the platform.
