The Give a Duck Foundation is a UK-based children’s cancer charity, supporting children who have been diagnosed with cancer throughout the UK. The charity provides children with Chemo Duck, a soft toy duck that resembles a patient undergoing chemotherapy, helping them understand and cope with their own treatment.

To raise awareness and funds for their cause, The Give a Duck Foundation opted to use Advent Calendar Online. The advent calendar was a festive and interactive way to engage with their audience and spread their message.

Behind some of the calendar windows, The Give a Duck Foundation told a heartwarming story related to the impact of their work, used data capture to grow their email database with new supporters of the foundation, and offered supporters the chance to win a prize at the end of the campaign. 

Some of the windows were also sold to supporting companies, allowing them to promote themselves while also supporting a good cause.
